8 oz elbow macaroni

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups milk (whole or 2%)

3 tbsp unsalted butter

3 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup honey

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare Chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shredded chicken, honey, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the chicken is heated through and coated with the honey-pepper mixture. Set aside.

      Make the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until the mixture turns golden. Gradually add the milk while continuously whisking to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

        Add Seasoning: Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.

          Combine Pasta and Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and the cheese sauce. Gently fold in the honey-pepper chicken until evenly distributed.
