Ingredients

2 cups marshmallow fluff

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon milk (or more for desired consistency)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and marshmallow fluff. Beat together using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure everything is incorporated.

Add the vanilla extract, milk, and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Continue to beat on medium speed until the icing is smooth and creamy, about another 2-3 minutes.

If the icing is too thick, add additional milk a teaspoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached. For a fluffier texture, continue to whip for an additional minute.

Use immediately to frost cupcakes, cakes, or cookies, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Re-whip before using if chilled.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 10 minutes | Servings: Enough to frost 12 cupcakes
